Melissa has been gracing Australian television screens for over 20 years, having achieved great success as a lifestyle, gardening and travel presenter.
Melissa's work on television includes ABC's Gardening Australia, which recently celebrated 30 years on-air, Channel's Nine's 'Battlefronts', where she transformed front gardens, Foxtel's glamourous 'Garden Angels' and the 'Garden Gurus' on Channel Nine, which has been running for over 20 years. She also showcased incredible travel destinations through her presenting role on Gurus Explore, a travel series presented by the nine network. Other presenting roles include the gardening and lifestyle host on Melbourne Weekender and regular guest on Channel 10's live morning show 'The Circle'.
She is currently one of the stars on Channel's 7's number one lifestyle show, Better Homes and Gardens.
Melissa began her career as a writer, radio host and gardening presenter, but decades of television and performance experience are seeing her expand into other roles including voice over artist and screen writer. She is a graduate of the Louise Talmadge Film Industry Acting School and received years of private acting tuition with teachers from the Victorian College of the Arts. She has also undertaken short courses at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) and TV Acting Courses with Suzan Johnston.
Melissa is the author of 'Garden Feast', a garden to table book published by ABC Books, which was nominated for a prestigious "Le Cordon Bleu" world food media award. Previous and on-going writing credits include articles for Gardening Australia Magazine, Your Garden Magazine, The Age, The Herald Sun, The Australian Gardener Magazine, Burke's Backyard Magazine and Good Organic Gardening Magazine.

Melissa is highly sought after as a speaker and MC having hosted a broad range of events including the Telstra Golden Plate Awards, The Deaf/Blind Association Charity Gala, Hair and Beauty Industry Awards, Hardware Association Awards and Parks and Leisure Australia Awards of Excellence. She has also led tour groups exploring the gardens and food of England, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Melissa is also a regular on the Logies red carpet and shows a keen interest in fashion, health and beauty.
